You may know this game from your school days, because it will play perfectly on crosshatched paper.


Aim of the game is to arrange five stones of own color either horizontally, vertically or diagonally contiguous. Once used stones remain where they are. The two players move alternately. If it is your turn, click an empty field.


Gomoku is also known as "Five in a row", “noughts and crosses” or "5 wins". The origin probably comes from Japan. It is proved that the appealing always wins at optimal strategy. Because our program is by far not perfect, has the computer as attract only a small advantage.


There are several variations of this game, we have chosen the here simplest.
